Minor Schoolgirl Raped by Her Abductor more than 10 Times in 3 weeks

11-year-old schoolgirl who was allegedly abducted and raped by a man identified as Gbenga Adebayo in Ekiti State, has narrated how she became a victim.

While Gbenga Adebayo, the 54-year-old man has been remanded in prison custody by a Magistrate’s court in Ado-Ekiti, for allegedly abducting and defiling the schoolgirl (Name Withheld).

A popular daily gathered that the suspect joined the teams to search for the girl after abducting the schoolgirl to his aged mother’s place in Ushi Ekiti where he was allegedly visiting her regularly.

But the shchoolgirl persuaded Adewale to allow her see her family but instead of taking the her home, the suspect took her to one of her aunts in Akure, whom she lied to that he found the girl wandering about. The aunt reported the case immediately to the Police after suspecting a foul play.

The victim during interrogation confessed that the suspect had slept with her not less than 10 times where he had hid her.

The victim’s story: “He is my neighbour. He used to ask me to buy things for him. One day he approached me, saying he wanted to help me because my teacher was harsh on me. He said he would rescue me from my teacher and take good care of me. He then took me to his mother’s place in Usi-Ekiti. Whenever he comes there, he used to sleep with me. He has done this for 10 times now.
“I was at his mother’s place for three weeks after which I refused to sleep with him again and because of that, he decided to take me to my aunt’s place in Akure. He told my aunt that he found me in his mother’s place in Ushi and decided to help me by taking me to her. He is the first man in my life,” the girl said.

The girl’s aunt in Ado Ekiti, Mrs. Theresa Agboola, said the schoolgirl was staying with one of her female school teachers near Ekiti State Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.

Agboola said, “About a month ago, June 5 precisely, the girl’s teacher had called to inform me that she was missing and that the whole occupants in the house, including the suspect, Gbenga Adebayo, were searching for her.

“That continued till June 29 when my sister from Akure called to tell me that the girl was brought to her by a man whom she identified as the same Gbenga Adebayo. It was then we suspected a foul play.

”We felt that if indeed Adebayo was sincere, he cannot be the same man who was part of the search team for the girl for three weeks here in Ado-Ekiti and also be the one who would now take her to my sister’s place in Akure after finding her. We then reported the case to the police who promptly arrested Adebayo and charged him to court.

“Last Friday, the magistrate court in Ado-Ekiti remanded him in prison. We also gathered that he has been sleeping with the girl before eventually taking her to his mother,” she added.

While confirming the case, the Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, Alberto Adeyemi, noted that the suspect had already been charged to court.

OPC launches manhunt for Falae, abductors

Founder of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Dr. Frederick Fasehun, has called for the immediate release of his birthday mate, Chief Olu Falae, kidnapped on Monday in Akure, Ondo State.

Born on September 21 like Falae, a visibly agitated Fasehun, who turned Octogenarian yesterday, said in Lagos yesterday that he had ordered OPC operatives to immediately launch a manhunt, combing all nooks and crannies of Ondo State and beyond, for the kidnapped politician. Fasehun described the kidnap as an assault and insult on the Yoruba people, and challenged security operatives and agencies to produce Falae within 48 hours. The OPC Founder immediately summoned all members in the country to attend an emergency meeting on Sunday. “OPC is not interested in crisis but it was founded primarily for the protection of its own and for building bridges in Nigeria,” he said. “All lovers of Nigerian unity like OPC, communal peace and national progress must rise up to this challenge. Warning of possible consequences, Fasehun pointed out that eyewitnesses indicated that Falae had been taken by strangers, just like the wife of the Sun Newspapers Executive Director, Mrs. Toyin Nwosu, abducted last week in Lagos. His words: “At my turning 80, the entire world would expect me to be a bridge builder. And I have prepared myself to be just that. But if any missile is thrown at you, and it is likely to affect your eyeball, you must avoid it at all costs. This is my view of the insult now being unleashed, being flung at Nigeria by the enemies of Nigeria’s unity.” The kidnappers have reportedly demanded a ransom of N100 million. Recalling that Falae had rendered “impeccable” service to the country as a Permanent Secretary, then Minister of Finance and Secretary to the Federal Government, Fasehun described the victim’s current ordeal as uncharitable. ““When we heard that Falae was kidnapped we thought it was impossible, as kidnappers would not be mad enough to kidnap a man of peace, a man who has selflessly served Nigeria,” he said. “Falae is by any standard a leader of the Yoruba people, a leader of Nigeria and a significant leader in Africa. He is a leader of Afenifere. He was a leader of NADECO. And any assault on him is an assault on Nigeria and Nigerians.” He also frowned at the fact that 24 hours following the kidnap, the Federal Government was yet to officially react to the incident. “Over 24 hours after this disruption of the life of a dignitary, government has not issued any statement; rather what we hear is a loud silence from the Federal Government. It is a shame; it is a big shame,” Fasehun said. Recalling that Falae, as the Olu of Oba-Ile, was the ruling monarch of his homestead, he urged all traditional rulers in Nigeria to also rise up for his release. According to the OPC President, the organisation felt concerned at Falae’s kidnap, which he described as an affront. Fasehun feared that the kidnapping of the top-flight politician portended ill for his fellows. “We believe this is a political issue. And any politician in Nigeria must make sure that Chief Olu Falae is released immediately,” he said. “Otherwise OPC will take any step available to defend its own.” DR. Wicked! 4 Guys Abducted & Gang-Raped 16-Year-Old Virgin In Lagos

Four young men are currently cooling their heels in one of the dreaded cells of the State criminal Investigation Department, (SCID) Yaba, Panti for allegedly gang raping a 16-year-old virgin (names withheld) in Orile area of Lagos while on her way from school.
The suspects identified as Sunday Simeon, 18, from Akwa Ibom state; Adebayo Omoniyi 18, from Ondo state; Nnaemeka Uzodinma 24, from Imo state and Seyi (surname unknown) who is currently on the run attacked, abducted and gang raped the victim who is a JSS 3 student on June 23, 2015. Vanguard learnt that the suspects attacked the victim after one of the suspects; Adebayo took the victim’s phone around Arikeuyo junction while returning from school at Orile. It was gathered that while the victim was struggling with Adebayo, his partners-in-crime dragged her into a tricycle and rode her to no 15 Unity Close in Orile Iganmu.
When they got there they took off her school uniform and raped her one after the other starting from Adebayo. Vanguard gathered that after successfully raping the victim, one of the suspects Adebayo suggested to the other gang members that they kill the victim and throw her corpse into the canal so that she won’t expose them. But another member of the gang, Seyi pleaded with them to be cautious with Adebayo’s advice, instead advice his colleagues to threaten the victim rather than kill her. Hearkening to Seyi’s advice the suspects threatened to kill her with a cutlass if she ever mentioned to anyone what they did to her or that they gang raped her.
Later they collected her phone number and rode her back to Alako area in Orile while Sunday gave her N100 to board a commercial vehicle home. According to a source close to the family who spoke to Vanguard on the condition of anonymity said: “when the victim came back from school it was obvious that something was wrong as she was walking with difficulty, her uniform torn, she was bleeding because she sustained severe bruises all over her vagina”.
“Her parents who saw her torn uniform and noticed the way she walked asked what had happened to her and she told them how she was attacked by four men who raped her on her way back from school. Immediately her father took her to Orile Divisional Police station to report the incidence. Fortunately while she was at the station with her father the suspects kept calling and threatening to kill her if she told anyone what they did to her”.
Meanwhile the victim was taken to Ifelodun Ajeromi Government Hospital where she received treatment after a series of test were carried out on her which confirmed that he has been sexually abused. Vanguard learnt that the police advised her to lure the suspects who were calling and threatening her by telling them that she was coming to see them again after school the next day. Unknown to them that it was a trap and that her parents had notified the police, they bought the idea. At the agreed time she went there with the detectives who succeeded in arresting one of the suspect’s Nnaemeka Uzodinma, his arrest eventually led to the arrest of two others.
It was gathered that the victim’s blood stained pant and the cutlass which was used to threaten her have been recovered from the suspects one-room apartment in Orile.

The suspects who are currently being investigated at the State Criminal Investigation Department, yaba, Panti would soon be arraigned in court.
