Tragic! Bodies Of 2 School Boys Found In River
The Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has disclosed that some fishermen have recovered corpses of two school boys from River Nguru in Yobe State.
Yobe State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Muhammadu Fari, who said this while speaking with newsmen on Thursday noted that the school boys likely to be between 13 and 14 years might have gone to the river for fishing before the tragic incident.
According to him, the fishermen recovered corpses of the two boys from the River on Wednesday and an autopsy is currently ongoing to determine the cause of their death.
He, however, urged parents and guardians to monitor the movement of their wards to prevent future reoccurrences even as the rain intensifies.
