Teenager Beats Girlfriend To Death, After She Told Him She Was Pregnant

In what seemed like a fairy tale love story, 15-year-old Anne Kasprzak couldn’t wait to write down how much she liked Darwin Bagshaw, 14. Once they started dating, Anne could already picture their future together. So when she told Darwin she was pregnant, Anne thought they’d run away together.

On 10 March, Anne argued with her mum and went off to her room. They thought she’d gone to bed, but Anne had actually sneaked out of the house. When her mum checked later that evening, she realised she had disappeared, and she was reported missing.

The next day, a jogger spotted a shoe and some blood on a bridge over the Jordan River near Salt Lake City. Anne’s body was found close by, floating in the water.
She’d been so badly beaten around the head and face that she was unrecognizable, even to her loved ones. Investigators had to use scars, clothing and dental records to identify her.

One of her fingernails was pushed back and she had defence wounds on her body. Anne had fought bravely for her life on the riverbank but lost.
Anne’s young boyfriend should have been devastated by her death, but he was too busy covering his tracks.
That fateful night, she’d gone to him and told him she was pregnant. She wanted them to run away together.
But an autopsy later revealed that Anne wasn’t pregnant at all. Whether she mistakenly thought she was, or was pretending to be to get Darwin to run away with her, no one will ever know. But Darwin believed she was expecting his child.

A few days after Anne’s death, police discovered Anne’s blood on one of Darwin’s shoes. He said she’d had a nose bleed while at a mutual friend’s house who backed up his story at first, but then said he’d lied. A witness said they’d also seen a BMX near the crime scene and police knew Darwin owned one.

They discovered he’d sent a text to his friend begging him to back up the story about the nosebleed. “I need you to tell them, so I don’t get blamed,” he’d begged. Then he’d urged his friend to delete the texts.
Darwin was finally arrested in October 2014, two years after he’d killed his young girlfriend. Now 17, Darwin was charged with first-degree felony murder. It was decided that he’d be tried as an adult, despite committing the crime at 14.

At first, Darwin pleaded not guilty, but in February this year, on the eve of his trial, he changed his plea to guilty and said he wanted to take responsibility for Anne’s death. He said he’d simply “snapped” because he was too young to process the information that he was going to be a father.

Ekemini is the girl, only 13 years old who David and our team rescued a few weeks ago and brought to safety to our orphanage  So please say Hello to the new member of our big family at DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens Home  He is just so sweet and adorable and I cannot wait to hold him in my arms  The operation went fine but Ekemini is a little sick and very tired. But she is with David and our team at the hospital now and they will all take good care of her and our little sweetheart Love from Anja and David 

House-Girl Raped By Her Lebanese Boss In Lagos Gives Birth To Baby Girl

The 17-year-old housemaid, Rhoda, who accused her Lebanese boss, a chef with one of the prominent Lagos hotel, Hassan Ali Husseini, of r*ping her while working for him, has put to bed.

The teenager, who is in custody of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, reportedly put to bed in a hospital at the Police College in Ikeja.

A source at the agency disclosed that the baby, a girl, has the features that make it incontrovertible that the child belongs to Mr Husseini. He had said he would accept the baby if he/she looks like him.

Mr Husseini had denied that the he r*ped Rhoda, but that the s*xual affair they had was consensual.

Punch had reported NAPTIP Zonal Commander, Mr. Joseph Famakin, as saying that Husseini offered to take responsibility for the child if it resembled him, saying he would accept it as “a gift from God.”

He said it was not the place of NAPTIP to prosecute the accused for alleged r*pe but the duty of the police.

The NAPTIP boss had also hinted at the possibility of a DNA test being conducted on the baby.

Famakin said his officials had visited the girl’s hometown in Kogi State to make some findings about her age and the circumstance under which she came to Lagos.

He said, “It is clear it is not a case of trafficking. But the girl’s brother, who brought her to the Lebanese man is in the best position to clarify what the arrangement was. But he has so far stayed in hiding.

My story is short.
I have stayed inside you for only three months.
I was very comfortable and warm. I felt really protected.

A young lady gives birth to a baby on the streets of Lagos this morning April 7th. Eye witnesses said the woman was on her way to the market when her water broke. She started screaming for help and a few people gathered around her and when they saw the baby's head was already coming out, they helped her deliver the baby right there.
 The woman and her baby are said to be doing well.

14 pregnant teenagers, 8 children rescued by soldiers in Abia

Nigerian Soldiers from 144 Battalion, Asa, in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State have rescued 14 pregnant teenagers and eight children from a motherless babies’ home at Umunkpeyi Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area.
Also arrested by the soldiers were six young men, who claimed to be staff of the home, and two girls, aged 16 and 25. However, the proprietress of the home, Mrs. Nma Charity, is still at large. It was gathered that Mrs. Charity claimed to be running a government-approved home, but engages in child trafficking and hiring of men who impregnates the teenage girls. Sources told Vanguard that on delivery, each girl got N20,000, while their babies were sold for between N80,000 and N150,000 for females and males, respectively. One of the suspects, who was caught at Eke-Akpara in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, while trying to steal a baby, confessed that he had been in the business with Mrs. Charity for a long period, stating that his role was to steal a child and deliver it to the her, who in turn sold it to her customers. Acting on the confession of the suspect, the Commanding Officer 144 Battalion, Lt. Col. Omolori Rasheed, ordered his men to raid the home where about 14 pregnant teenagers and six young men were arrested, while the proprietress of the home was away at the time of the raid.
A soldier, who declined to have his name in print, told Vanguard that the babies, between the ages of one and six, and the pregnant teenagers, would be handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other Related Matters, NAPTIP, while the other persons would be handed over to the police for prosecution.
