17 UNILAG Girls Gone Missing, After Attending A Party AT Lekki

According to this twitter user, 20 girls went partying and only three returned crying.They say they barely escaped with their lives..They were supposed to be given 80K each as a reward for attending the party or what they call ‘Thanks for coming”. See tweets below;

SAD!!! Cooking Gas Explosion - R.i.p Vera Sweety

Female final year student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Miss Veronica Ezeh Chioma, died of gas explosion last week in her off campus apartment.

Good friends of the deceased who was studying Biochemistry have described her as a very friendly and intelligent person that loved to carry friends along on general issues affecting their interests.

She was already recuperating…only to die a week after. May her soul rest in peace.

An eyewitness had this to say:-

“she was very pretty and elegant, it all happened so fast.. When I heard the explosion I thought it was thunder, only for me to come out of my Room and behold the sight, her room was on fire!!”

Police shot and killed a secondary student

Academic activities in Aduwawa Senior Secondary School, Benin City were grounded Wednesday following a protest by the students over an alleged shooting of a student and use of tear gas on staff and students of the school by policemen. here's a footage of students interviewed on the events.
