Shocking: Python Attacks and Swallowed A Pregnant Goat & A Male Goat In Lagos

A huge python was killed by some men and discover two goat inside the snake.

According to the eyewitness;
This happened in my friend’s street. I saw it with my eyes. A python came out from a canal near a woman’s house and entered her goat house, swallowed one pregnant and one male goat.
The woman came out in the morning to feed her goats, when she was about to enter the goat house she now saw a big python on the floor.
The python could not move again. The woman ran with her both legs shouting. All the people in the neighborhood came out. This happened in Bucknor Okoye street in Jakande Lagos.
I pity those that always buy land in swampy areas, all in the name of answering a landlord or landlady. To tell u the truth, if those goat were to be little kids sleeping, the python would have swallowed them as well.

Unbelievable! 21-Year-Old Leads Armed Robbers To Attack His Own Sister, Rapes Maid

In what will come across as a really shocking development, a man is said to have led armed robbers to rob his sister and her family.

A man identified as John Ige Damilola, has been accused of leading armed robbers to his sister’s house to attack her and her husband in Ijoko area of Lagos.

The 21-year-old man, a barber, has however claimed that although he knew about the robbery, he did not take part in it.

According to Vanguard, Ige, who was paraded at the state police Command Ikeja, said: “I was not part of the robbery operation. I am not the gang leader. I operate a barbing saloon in front of my sister’s building.

“One of those who attacked and robbed my sister and in-law is my customer. My barbing shop is in the same building where my sister lives, but I do not live there.

“I could not speak out because they informed me of their intentions. They came around 9p.m. But I closed my barbing saloon at about 7p.m. that day. I was arrested because the people that came to rob my sister and her husband implicated me.”

Vanguard reports that Ige was at the scene of the operation, but did not go inside the house. His gang members r*ped the maid and almost r*ped his elder sister.

They left her because she was pregnant.

Investigation is ongoing.

Police insists Enugu Killers Were Fulani Herdsmen, As Death Toll Rises

Nwodibo Ekechukwu, the commissioner of police for Enugu state, says the killings of nine people in Nimbo community was carried out by suspected herdsmen.
This appears to contradict a statement released by the state police on Wednesday saying that the killers were “mere hoodlums”.
“First of all, let me extend my condolence to the families, it is painful to us and we would get to the root of the matter,” he said in an interview with Channels TV.
“The present situation is that one more person died and two additional corpses were discovered, making the death toll nine, and nine people are also injured and still receiving treatment at the hospital.
“Well, the allegation, the suspicion is that they are herdsmen. The suspicion is that they are herdsmen. We are working on that, at the appropriate time, their full identity will be disclosed.”
He said the killings were done in cold blood in the community while farmers tried to make their means from early hour farming.
“The genesis was that on the 25th between 6:30 and 7:00am, the suspected herdsmen invaded Nimbo community, Enugu state.
“They came through the bushes and while coming through the bushes, they slaughtered people in a most barbaric manner. In their farms. Those who went early to farm.
“They decided to slaughter them, so that they would not use gunshot in a way that would attract the attention of law enforcement.
“Eventually, they came to the fringes of the town, they burnt one house with a vehicle contained in a garage, then of course a bus nearby.
“By the time our men noticed what was happening, they went there and exchange gunfire with them, successfully repelled them with some of them carrying bullet wounds.”
President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the police, at a book launch on Wednesday, to bring the perpetrators to book.

Governor Oshiomhole Vs Deputy, Attack and Shootings

There is tension in Edo State over last weekend gun attack on the convoy of Deputy Governor Pius Odubu during a visit to the APC secretariat in Auchi, headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area.

Odubu relived the incident and called on the police to arrest the suspects he fingered in the attack. But his boss, Governor Adams Oshiomhole dismissed it all as “hasty”, saying “preliminary reports suggest that the fracas was caused by thugs loyal to the Odubu Campaign imported in two truck-loads to Auchi, who attacked other party loyalists not sold to the deputy governor’s aspiration”.
Besides, Etsako West party leader Abubakar Akokhia dismissed the claim that Odubu was targeted.
He alleged that the shooting might have been carried out by those in the deputy governor’s convoy.
He said Odubu was not under any threat at any time during the shooting.
At a news conference addressed by a member of the Odubu Campaign Organisation , the deputy governor called on security agencies to arrest and prosecute those who attacked him and members of his campaign organisation. He said he had identified “three principal suspects’’ behind the attack.
He urged the police to unearth them and their pay masters, and prosecute them for this felonious act.
According to The Nation, the former APC Minority Chief in the House of Representatives, Samson Osagie, who spoke for the organisation, described the attack as “the height of naked display of cruelty, animosity, acrimony, intolerance, gross irresponsibility and man’s inhumanity to man’’.
He said Odubu would not back down from pursuing his ambition to be governor, saying that “in democracy, it is only the people that have the right to choose their leaders”.
“And for those who seek to spill blood on account of a mere party nomination exercise, the God of justice shall bring justice upon them,’’ he said.
Osagie said eight persons including a Department of State Services (DSS) officer and a police Inspector in Odubu’s entourage were injured.
“As we speak, six of them are currently at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) receiving treatment while the other two are still convalescing at a hospital in Auchi,’’ he said.
The state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr Godwin Erhahon, at the news conference, described the attack as “madness’’.
“What happened yesterday (Saturday) in Auchi is absolute madness. I want to appeal to APC supporters to remain calm and be friendly ahead of the elections proper.’’
Police Commissioner Chris Ezike, who visited Odubu’s campaign secretariat, said although the command was yet to make any arrest, it had names of suspects and would take action.

Cultism is Evil - See what they did to fellow humans

A reliable source revealed that four youths, Ekene Nweke, Ike Nwankwo, Anierobi Nwizu, Wilson Ikwuka from the community who were allegedly attacked by the ravaging cult group were said to have been lying critically ill in different hospitals.
The source said those attacked were left with various degrees of machete cuts while many who are said to be in the list of the attackers flee the community for fear of being killed.
It was gathered that the ravaging cultists, having failed to lure their victims and many other youths in Umunya community into their nefarious activities, ended up in slicing their victims with machetes and axes.
Reacting to the ugly development, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Umunya town union, Mr. Obi Ezeana said the present attack came few weeks after the Anambra State government inaugurated a caretaker committee, charged with the responsibility of reconciling the warring parties in the area as well as conducting election into the town union executive.
According to him, the suspected cultists acted on the traditional ruler of Umunya Community, HRH, Igwe Chris Onyekwuluje.
“After our swearing in, I personally led eleven other members of the caretaker committee to the State Commissioner of Police and to the Divisional Police Officer, Nteje police division, SP Daniel Barnabas and pleaded with them to stop arresting members of the community pending the outcome of the peace crusade we have embarked upon.
“To my chagrin, we called the two factions of Ezi-Umunya village that were having problems over the election of village leadership for roundtable talks, aimed at restoring peace among warring factions, at the end of the meeting, policemen from Nteje police division stormed the venue of our meeting, arrested Ekene Nweke and detained him at the police station.
It took me time to release him on bail and on his way home from the police station; he was attacked by the suspected cult group led by Samson Nwabude,” Mr. Ezeana stated.
The victims, who reacted from their respective hospital beds, said the attack was as a result of their refusal to be initiated into the dreaded cult group led by Samson Nwabude.
They however distanced the attack from the leadership crisis rocking the Ezi-Umunya village, stating that bringing in the crisis in their village leadership was a plot to distract the operations of the cult group allegedly sponsored by the traditional ruler of the community.
The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Nteje Police Division, SP, Daniel Barnabas confirmed the incident, saying his men on patrol rescued the first victim, Ekene Nweke.

Soldiers Shoot At A Lawyer In Festac (Graphic Photos)

Some solders in Festac have shot at and brutalized a motorist for having an argument with a soldier over the right of way.
The soldiers numbering about four reportedly chased the motorist identified barrister Olajide Sipe, from 23 road Mobile Petrol station, shooting and at his vehicle in the process.
They thereafter dragged the helpless victim out of the car and beat him thoroughly with stones and sticks.
Our correspondent at the scene was told by relatives of the victim that but for the timely intervention of a retired commodore who stopped his car and restrained the soldiers from inflicting more injuries on the Jide, he could have lost his life in the attack.
After the commodore intervened, Jide was rushed by bystanders to Mercy Gate hospital along 72 Road where is receiving treatment.
Narrating his ordeal to our correspondent at the hospital, Jide said: I was coming from where I went to buy water barely ten minutes after talking with my wife on the phone, at 23 Road Mobil Petrol station, those buying fuel had blocked one lane and a soldier had stopped a bus on the other lane in the middle of the road.
“When I realized that the soldier was blocking the road I said to him, Oga this thing you are doing is causing holdup, why don’t you take the bus out of the road, so that we can move, and then he said to me who are you, what nonsense are you talking, and I said, no Oga I’m not trying to teach you what to do, I’m only telling you that if you do this thing it will be better for us using the road.
“The next thing he said was, You must be a useless man, then when I saw that he was already taking that tone I decided to move my car, then he started running after me, after I took the turning on 23 Road, another soldier, light in complexion came in front of my car, I stopped, then he began kicking my front wheel and smashed my windscreen.
“When I saw he was kicking my car, I moved, then the two Soldiers boarded a bike, then they later became four and began chasing me, as I got to 7th Avenue, I made a U-turn and they rammed their bike into my car, then I drove off, when the soldiers saw me driving off they shot at the car twice, the second bullet hit my tyre.
When I heard the sound of the gun I couldn’t believe I was being shot at. After my tyre went flat, I came down and they ran to me and beat me blue black, after that people around brought me to the hospital.
The relatives of the victim said the commanding officer of the soldiers, Lieutenant Sadi, later came to the hospital to see the damage his men had caused to an innocent citizen, but offered no further succor.

Pipeline Vandals Vs Buhari, Vow Further Niger Delta Attacks

A group that claimed responsibility for a major attack on a pipeline in Nigeria’s oil-producing Delta region said it will carry out more strikes, just days after President Muhammadu Buhari vowed to crack down on “vandals and saboteurs”.
The Niger Delta Avengers has said it carried out the attack on a Shell underwater pipeline in February which interrupted oil flows and forced the company to shut down its 250,000 barrel-a-day Forcados export terminal for weeks.
Pipeline attacks and violence have risen in the southern swampland of Africa’s biggest oil exporter since authorities issued an arrest warrant in January for a former militant leader on corruption charges.
Last week Buhari, a former military ruler, said the government would crack down on pipeline saboteurs.. And on Sunday the vice president’s office issued a statement that said a permanent pipeline security force was being considered.
“We are not deterred by such threats as we are highly spirited and shall continue blowing up pipelines until the Niger Delta people are no longer marginalized by the Nigerian actors,” said the Niger Delta Avengers in a statement.
The Delta’s oil provides 70 percent of state income in Africa’s biggest economy but, like much of Nigeria, the region has seen little development which has prompted militants to demand a greater share of crude revenues.
Niger Delta Avengers, unheard of before the Forcados attack, say they want to ensure that local people enjoy a quality of life which reflects the region’s contribution to the national purse.
The group said in its statement: “We take no pleasure in claiming innocent lives hence our struggle is geared toward attacking the oil installations in our region and not the people. And we shall stop at nothing until our goal is achieved.”
Buhari has extended a multi-million dollar amnesty signed with militants in 2009 but upset them by ending generous pipeline protection contracts.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo visited the damaged Forcados terminal on Friday.
Sources have said repair work on the pipeline feeding Forcados crude oil to the export terminal is expected to take until June. But the vice president’s statement said repair work was expected to end in May.

Daycare owner attacked while protecting kids (photo)

A Montana daycare owner was punched and hit in the face with a shovel after refusing to hand three young siblings to their father, who was drunk and lacked legal custody, authorities said.

Martha McClure had surgery for her injuries Monday and is still struggling with double vision, according to her sister-in-law, Marlene Heath.
Lake County officials say McClure was caring for Francis Joseph Jackson's three children, all under the age of 4, when he showed up at her Ronan daycare center with an unidentified woman last week. McClure knew Salish and Kootenai Tribal Child Protective Services had suspended Jackson's parental rights and he was not allowed to have contact with them. Deputy county attorney James Lapotka wrote in an affidavit that Jackson, 31,
"has been in an ongoing CPS case for the past three years" and was served court papers saying the agency had legal custody of his children. McClure reported she could smell alcohol on Jackson, that he was angry she wouldn't let him pick up his children, and that he threatened to assault her in front of the kids at Martha's Mini Daycare, court records said. She was able to physically remove Jackson from the daycare center and lock the door.

But she said he began throwing toys, including a tricycle, at the window in an apparent attempt to get back inside, court records said. McClure went outside, where she and Jackson fought until a woman hit McClure in the face with a snow shovel. Jackson then hit McClure in the face, knocking her down, court records said. The suspects fled without the children. Jackson was arrested Monday in Usk, Washington, on the Kalispel Indian Reservation.
He faces aggravated burglary charges in the Oct. 7 incident. He waived extradition Tuesday during a court hearing in Pend Oreille County. His bond was set at $100,000, and he was expected to be returned to Montana later this week, a jail officer said. Charges are pending against the woman accused of hitting McClure in the face with a shovel.
She has not been arrested, and her name has not been released. Meanwhile, Heath says McClure is recovering from surgery for an eye injury. A photo on a gofundme.com page set up by McClure's stepdaughter shows the daycare owner with two black eyes and other facial injuries. "She's still in high spirits, positive and trying to get better so she can get back to her (daycare) kids,"
Heath said.

Buhari condemns latest Boko Haram attacks

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned in the strongest language the latest terrorist attacks on Borno and Yobe communities by the Boko Haram bandits. In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the president said he was deeply touched by these mindless incidents of violence on innocent people during the month of Ramadan.
According to President Buhari, the terrorists are enemies of everybody, and enemies of humanity everywhere. He explained that no sane people who believe in any god would be destroying the lives of innocent people in cold blood, adding that terrorists don’t represent any religion.
The President said the pattern of their indiscriminate violence against innocent people shows that they represent nothing else but anarchy and devilry. In what appears to be one of his toughest expressions of outrage, President Buhari reminded the terrorists of his uncompromising resolve to tackle them with all the resources at the disposal of his government. “Make no mistake about it: this government is ever determined to discharge its fundamental duty of protecting the lives of its citizens from physical threats from any groups bent on creating chaos, confusion, and on destroying social and economic life of the people”, he further warned. President Buhari who extended his sympathy to the families of the victims, reassured all Nigerians that his government would never tolerate to terrorist blackmail, and that our security forces would confront the Boko Haram bandits to the last man. Describing terrorists as “cowards who lack any moral inhibition and any iota of humanity to reason compassionately” would not find Nigeria a safe haven, because “they would be “hunted down without mercy and compromise.”
He reassured Nigerians that security would be tackled by his administration with vigorous determination. The President, however, advised Nigerian to show more vigilance and be alert to the presence of suspicious people around them, adding that “the terrorists are enemies of religion and humanity.”
He explained that “no true believers in any God would target worshipers, holy places, or people who are fasting and other innocent Nigerians.”

Al-Shabaab released a video threatening to attack shopping malls in U.S, UK, Canada

Somalia-based terror group, Al-Shabaab released a video online over the weekend calling for attacks on shopping malls in Canada, the UK and the United States. In the propaganda video posted Saturday February 21st, the al Qaeda-linked terror group reminded the world of its September 2013 attack on Westgate mall in Kenya in which over 60 people were killed and called for similar attacks on major malls in the three Western countries.
Al-Shabaab identified specific malls, but international media is not listing the malls. The management of major malls in US such as the Mall of America however says it has increased its security personnel within and outside the mall following the threat by the terror group. “We take any potential threat seriously and respond appropriately.
We have implemented extra security precautions, some may be noticeable to guests and others won’t be.” the Minnesota mall said in a statement. Jeh Johnson, the secretary of Homeland Security in an interview with CNN on Sunday asked Americans intending to go to the mall to be particularly careful.
“If anyone is planning to go to the Mall of America today, they’ve got to be particularly careful. There will be enhanced security there but public vigilance, public awareness and public caution in situations like this is particularly important, and it’s the environment we’re in, frankly.” he said The US government said there's no credible evidence that an attack is eminent!

Oritsejafor attacks Politicians

President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has again come hard on political and traditional leaders in the country, accusing them of insincerity. “Nigeria is a country of pretenders,” he said. Speaking in Abuja yesterday during a parley between Northern Christian Elders’ Forum and traditional rulers from northern states, Oritsejafor stated that nothing would work in the country, until leaders and followers began to tell one another the truth.
He said there was still a misconception in the South about northerners and their religious leanings despite the fact that both the North and the South had existed since 1914. He urged the over 30 traditional rulers drawn from North-Central, North-West and North-East who were present at the parley to correct the anomaly. Addressing the traditional rulers, Oritsejafor said: “There was a time in this country, if you needed to call Ivory Coast, you will have to call France in order to connect with the person. It was a terrible system.
In a sense, that is what has been happening. “Let me say that when I was growing up, we were deceived to believe that everybody from northern Nigeria is a Muslim. We were deceived in a sense to think and believe that everybody in northern Nigeria was Hausa/Fulani. It was one Musa who lectured me and brought me out of my ignorance. So, many people in the South are also ignorant like me. You may not know, but most Nigerians do not know Christian traditional rulers from the North exist in this country.” Urging them to reach out to their counterparts across the Niger, Oritsejafor said such synergy would bring the much-needed peace that Nigeria needed at this critical stage. “As you strengthen this body, I urge you to reach out to those across the Niger so that a true national dialogue can begin. Share your experiences with your colleagues from the South and learn from each other. The greatest war we are fighting is a war we are fighting against the truth.
We hate, fight and fear the truth. It is so unfortunate. “Nigeria is not free because we are running away from the truth. Truth can be bitter, but when you swallow it, it becomes sweet. No nation can grow without embracing the truth. “We are like ostriches.
We are a nation of pretenders. We run from the truth and expect our problems to just vanish. Truth has a way of creating a level-playing field for everybody. We must build a nation on truth. What is happening here is a bold step towards embracing the truth,” Pastor Oritsejafor added.
